Trading Standards Scotland have had an increase in reports of rogue traders offering to install home energy products such as insulation, boilers and double glazing, supposedly under Government funded schemes. 

If a cold caller tells you that you are eligible for a grant or funding for energy efficiency improvements, always verify that their offer is valid before agreeing to any deal.
