We are appealing for information in relation to the theft of a black Polaris Ranger, VRM SF20NNB vehicle, similar to the one in the image, which was stolen from a farm shed on Bridge Street, Keith, between 1pm and 8pm on Friday, 19 July, 2024. There was a sighting of the vehicle in the Cullen area around 6.30pm of the same date. If you have any information in relation to this incident you can: • Contact Police on 101 or using the ‘Contact Us’ form on the Police Scotland website https://www.scotland.police.uk/secureforms/contact/ • Report anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers 0800 555 111. Ref: 3949 of 19/07/24 Advice on how to keep agricultural equipment safe can be found in the attached booklet produced by the North East Crime Reduction Team. Consider marking your agricultural equipment with a SelectaDNA Rural Kit. Marking your premises and equipment with SelectaDNA – a unique formula of DNA, UV tracer and microdots – can reduce the chances of theft. Criminals view items marked with SelectaDNA as too high risk and are further put off from stealing them as they have little or no resale value. This messaging system is not for reporting crime as responses are not monitored 24/7. If you have time-critical information regarding the content of the above message, or if you wish to report any other non-urgent matter, please call 101. In an emergency, call 999.
