About 2300-2355hrs on Friday 4 October 2024 a farm barn close to Milton Rd, Kilbirnie was broken into and two quadbikes were removed.

The incident, which was captured on CCTV, shows the quadbikes being moved by suspects to a nearby layby - where it is assumed they would be shortly thereafter be uplifted.  Fortunately, the true owner was able to locate and retrieve said vehicles before they could be removed by suspects.

CCTV suggests three males were present during the housebreaking and removal of the vehicles.  Anyone with information, or who perhaps captured pertinent dashcam footage of suspicious activity in the local area, is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 - reference CR/0375945/24.
