Police Scotland are urging farmers and rural homeowners to check the security of their premises and vehicles, including quads and plant equipment.
Recently, a quad bike was stolen from the Birnam area between 29/11 and 02/12.
An attempt was also made to another quad bike in Burrelton area on 05/12.
There have been similar incidents in the Forfar area of Angus. A silver-coloured Audi has been seen in the vicinity of some the incidents. Police would urge everyone to be vigilant, secure property and report any incidents or concerns to Police.
We would ask anyone who is offered a quad, plant equipment or tools for sale, that could be stolen, to contact Police on 101. Alternatively information can be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111 or online Giving information anonymously | Crimestoppers | ||||
