Theft Of Caravan

About 0010hrs on the morning of Friday 13/12/2024, a secured “Swift Challenger 650” caravan was stolen from Halley's Burnhouse Caravans, A736 Lochlibo Rd, Burnhouse, Beith.

Witnesses saw the caravan being towed out of Halley's by a dark-coloured SUV-style vehicle.  The towing vehicle's nearside headlight was reportedly not working at the time of the offence.  The vehicle was seen travelling southbound to The Blair restaurant car park (Lochlibo Rd, Kilwinning) where it turned right into said car park and its subsequent whereabouts are unknown.

The image is of the same make and model as the caravan stolen.  The true caravan may differ slightly in appearance.  At the time of the theft, the caravan did not have a number plate.

Police are asking for any witnesses to the incident, or those who have captured dashcam footage with pertinent evidence, to contact Police Scotland on 101 - reference CR/0473947/24.
