Your Community - Anti-Social behaviour |
||
Dear Resident,
The Grangemouth Community Policing team is addressing a rise in anti-social behaviour at several local primary schools: Beancross, Bowhouse, Moray, and Sacred Heart. We have received multiple reports of groups, primarily ages 12-17, congregating on school grounds after hours. These groups have been reported for being abusive to school staff and members of the public. Furthermore, we are aware of various items, including vapes, alcohol, and general litter, being discarded on school property. These discarded items pose a risk to young children, and we appreciate that school staff have discovered and removed them before school hours. In response, we are increasing patrols in the areas surrounding these schools. We ask the public to assist us by reporting any anti-social behaviour they witness. You can contact the Grangemouth Community Policing team directly at grangemouthcpt@scotland.police.uk or through our alert system. We also urge parents and guardians to speak with young people who frequent these areas. Please remind them to be respectful of staff and the public, and to take their personal belongings and rubbish with them when they leave. Your cooperation helps ensure the safety and cleanliness of our school environments.
Kind regards
