National Rural Crime Update

TWO QUAD BIKES STOLEN AND RECOVERED, 5 PERSONS ARRESTED

Overnight Wednesday 4th of February in to Thursday 5th of February two quad bikes were stolen from farms in the Gartocharn area. Police attended immediately and were able to locate the two stolen quad bikes and arrest 5 persons in connection with the thefts.

SIGHTING OF DRONES IN CALLANDER AREA

A number of reports have been received by Police where drones have been seen flying over farms and rural yards overnight with a thermal camera attached. Intelligence shows that drones are being used by criminals to conduct hostile surveillance.
