Your Community - Police Scotland Activity

Dear Resident,

During my engagement this week I have been made aware of criminality that is taking place within the Govanhill Housing Memorial Garden that is situated beside Govanhill Housing Association. 

To support this, Police Scotland Community Officers will be carrying out regular patrols of the garden and surrounding areas. It has been brought to the attention of the Police that the group who are targeting this area are youths from surrounding Schools/High Schools. Uniformed Officers will be engaging with large groups of youths going forward to ensure positive community engagement and hopefully deter any further incidents occurring within the Memorial Garden.
